Terms & Conditions for “18 On the Hill” Raffle

  1. Eligibility
    1. This raffle is open to all persons aged 18 (eighteen) years and older. Anyone professionally connected with managing, administering or auditing this Raffle is not eligible to participate.
    2. Entry is limited to individuals only (no corporate entities).
  2. Entry into the Raffle
    1. For every R360 (three hundred and sixty Rand) payment to KDSF, registered on the online raffle entry portal (click here to enter), a participant will receive 1 (one) entry into the Raffle.
    2. Multiple entries are permitted, provided that each entry is accompanied by a valid payment.
    3. All entries and accompanying payments must be received between 20 October 2025 and 24 November 2025 (South African time). Entries received outside of this period will not be valid.
    4. Payments made for entry into the raffle do not qualify for tax deduction.
  3. The Prize
    1. The prize consists of a 3 (three) night stay for 2 (two) guests, in a Luxury Tented Suite at 18 On the Hill, including:
      1. 2 (two) daily guided safari games drives (sunrise and sunset);
      2. 3 (three) meals per day, snacks and selected beverages (Kosher, if requested in advance);
      3. flights from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit and return transfers from Hoedspruit Airport to the lodge; and
      4. conservation levies.
    2. The prize is valid until 31 December 2026 and travel dates are subject to availability and 18 On the Hill booking policy.
    3. The prize may not be exchanged for cash and is not transferable.
  4. Selection of the Winner
    1. The Raffle draw will take place on 28 November 2025.
    2. The Raffle draw will be conducted under the supervision of independent auditors, using a randomised and auditable method.
    3. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    4. The winner must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  5. Notification of the Winner
    1. KDSF will attempt to contact the winner once per day for 3 (three) consecutive working days (between 08h00 and 18h00, South African time) using the contact details provided upon entry.
    2. If the winner cannot be contacted within this period, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be selected on the same terms. After the prize of the first selected winner is forfeited, as contemplated herein, the KDSF will attempt to contact each further name drawn, on the same terms as above, until a winner is confirmed.
    3. The winner may be required to provide a valid identity document or passport before the prize is confirmed.
  6. Use of Personal Information
    1. By entering the Raffle, the participant consents to KDSF using their name, surname, city, country, video and/or images for marketing and promotional material, without compensation and without requiring any further consent from the winner.
    2. Personal information will otherwise be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2014.
  7. Compliance
    1. This Raffle is conducted in terms of the Lotteries Act 57 of 1997, the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and any other related regulations.
    2. Proceeds from the Raffle will be applied exclusively to KDSF’s charitable objectives.
  8. Limitation of Liability
    1. KDSF will not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury or any harm caused whatsoever, as a direct or indirect consequence of participating in this competition.
  9. General
    1. The KDSF reserves the right to update or amend these rules at any time and to cancel the competition if necessary.
