Dr Jedd Myers
Jedd Myers is a qualified medical doctor, entrepreneur, executive, investor and advisor. After graduating from Wits Medical School, Jedd made the move into the commercial world of healthcare with a passion to build and deliver large scaled health care initiatives that would have an impact on hundreds of thousands of lives. His healthcare background, formal training (Jedd also holds an MBA), commercial insights and experience as well as his exposure to multiple healthcare systems are key in the realization of this strategy.
He is a serial entrepreneur with a successful track record in the fields of Executive Health and Wellness, Occupational Health and Safety, Online and Digital Health and Wellness, Health Screening and Testing, HIV and Chronic Disease Management, COVID-19 as well as Home Based Care.
Jedd is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the HealthImpact Group being responsible for strategic development and implementation across the group both locally and abroad. The HealthImpact group boasts an impressive corporate client base that it services through its integrated and comprehensive service set.
Jedd is also a former shareholder and the former Chief Operating Officer of The Healthinsite Group; which was comprised of HealthInsite in South Africa, HealthLogix in Australia and HealthLogix in Brazil. This digital health and wellness business was successfully acquired by Zurich Insurance Company in 2020. Jedd was also a shareholder and director of SMG Health in Australia that was acquired by Morneau Shepell/Lifeworks in early 2021.
Jedd also has a number of successful entrepreneurial interests in alternative fields. He is a member of the international Entrepreneurs’ Organisation and has served as the President of the Johannesburg Chapter.
Jedd is truly passionate about healthcare and its effect on employees, businesses and economies. A real evangelist, Jedd is obsessed with his personal health and is also an accomplished endurance sportsman having completed numerous ultra marathons, cycle events and 6 IronMan Triathlons.
Jedd is happily married to Hayley and they have two sons, Tyler and Tallin.

Attending King David Sandton and Linksfield entrenched my faith in the traditions of Judaism and together with the sense of community learnt in this period play an important role in my philosophy on life.
The skills learnt both in and outside of the formal curriculum have proven invaluable in my career. I constantly felt a sense of accomplishment from the teachers that pushed me to strive to achieve more. Teachers that left a lasting impression – Mr Richie significantly enhanced my debating and public speaking career, Mrs Seftel entrenched my love for learning through reading and the English language, Mrs Goldberg and her experiments will be something that I never forget and I still reference the Lupine system of Latin translation taught by Mr Wolf.
