After matriculating from King David High School Victory Park in 1983, Steven went to WITS University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying.
In 2002, he established his own company viz. S.M. Schneid Quantity Surveyors (Pty) Ltd, (www.smschneid.co.za) and has been fortunate to have worked on many large projects in the South African Building Industry, playing a constructive and meaningful role in enabling his clients to reach their objectives in a diverse range of projects such as HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS, Casinos, Hotels, Offices, Shopping Centres etc.
Steven is especially proud to have been appointed as the Quantity Surveyor of THE LEONARDO, a R2 Billion, 55 storey skyscraper located in the heart of Sandton (currently THE TALLEST BUILDING IN AFRICA) – which was recently completed, to the delight of his client, ON BUDGET.
He is married to Magdalina, and they have two children at King David Ariel Victory Park, Liorah and Ethan, and they are delighted with the school in all respects. Magdalina designed and managed the magnificent Sensory Garden at the school.
