Ariella currently teaches a course she created entitled “Writing for the Health of It” in Toronto, Canada. She is a teacher, published author, speaker, storyteller, proud mother and very proud grandmother.
Ariella has a PhD from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education/University of Toronto. For many years she has been a writing mentor for men and women living with cancer, as well as their radiation therapists and oncology nurses. They write, “This course is probably one of the best things I’ve done for myself. I am no longer overwhelmed. It has given me a voice. The journey has been an absolute joy.”
Ariella attended King David School Linksfield from Standard 2 until Matric. She has fond memories of dynamic, politically active teachers, acting in school plays, and listening to authors as a member of the literary society. These experiences inspired her to pursue a teaching career and work to make a difference in others’ lives.
